Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, password, role (artist, producer, A&R, etc.), and optional profile details such as location, bio, skills, and social links.
Payment Information: We collect information necessary to process payments, including wallet addresses for cryptocurrency transactions. Card payment details are processed by our third-party payment providers and are not stored on our servers.
Content You Provide: Profile photos, cover images, beat files, audio recordings, booking notes, messages, and reviews you submit through the Platform.
Usage Data: We collect information about how you interact with the Platform, including pages viewed, features used, search queries, session durations, and device information (device type, OS version, unique device identifiers).
Communications: Messages sent through our in-app messaging system and any communications you send to us directly.

- To facilitate bookings, payments, and escrow transactions between users
- To power discovery features including search, filtering, and AI-based matching

- Other Users: Profile information you make public (name, photo, bio, role, location, reviews) is visible to other Sessions users.
- Payment Processors: We use third-party payment providers (including cryptocurrency payment networks) to process transactions securely.
- Infrastructure Providers: We use Supabase for database hosting and authentication, and similar cloud service providers to operate the Platform.
- Push Notification Services: We use Expo and platform notification services (APNs, FCM) to deliver push notifications.
- Legal Requirements: When required by law, court order, or governmental authority.
4. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us. Some information may be retained for legal, accounting, or fraud-prevention purposes after account deletion.

Sessions is not directed to individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will delete it promptly.
8. International Transfers
Sessions operates globally. Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence, including the United States, where our infrastructure providers are based. We take steps to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for such transfers.

We implement industry-standard technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, row-level security on our database, and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
